Manage rentals yourself

You list the car, maintain availability, confirm requests and arrange handover and return. Marketplace partnership terms are agreed separately; the 70/30 model does not automatically apply to suppliers.

CarMisto management

If you want rental operations managed rather than handing over the car yourself, review the separate management programme. Its page contains the income split, owner expenses and calculator.

What to provide

For the initial enquiry, provide the city, make, model, year, mileage and contact details. Do not send identity documents, bank details or document copies through the general form. Document verification is arranged separately.

Prepare a comparable rental offer

Before listing, gather current photos of your actual vehicle, year, transmission, fuel and seat count. Define pickup city and arrangements, rates for different terms, deposit, mileage and return rules. State which extras you can actually provide and which require agreement. Allow time for inspection, cleaning and handover between rentals, and keep availability current after changes. A complete offer reduces follow-up questions; it does not promise request volume or income.

Own handovers or management: assign responsibilities

Compare who will answer requests, check availability, meet drivers, record condition and arrange servicing. With your own rental operation, those tasks remain your responsibility. For managed rental, agree authority, reporting, costs and vehicle return under the separate programme. Do not apply its income-sharing model to every marketplace listing. An enquiry starts a review; it does not automatically accept your vehicle.

Enquiry — no payment or contract

A manager will review your enquiry. This does not reserve a vehicle or approve participation. Do not include document numbers or bank details.

Rent out your own car: choose your operating model

You can rent out your own car in two distinct ways: work with renters yourself through a marketplace or entrust rental operations to a management programme. First decide whether you will answer requests, hand over the car and inspect it on return. That choice helps identify the right CarMisto arrangement, estimate costs and prepare a listing without a guaranteed-income promise.

For your own listing, prepare photographs of the actual vehicle, rental-length rates, a pickup address and complete rules. Save a draft and submit it for moderation when ready.

Compare the rental conditions

Assess costs as well as income: servicing, repairs, downtime and depreciation affect the outcome. No level of utilisation is guaranteed. If another team should organise the rental, discuss the separate management terms first.
